FeelSong writes songs. To do that it needs to know almost nothing about you, and this page is a plain account of the little it does hold.

There is no account

You do not sign up. FeelSong does not ask for your name, your email or your phone number, and it cannot: there is nowhere in the app to type one.

Instead your device generates a random anonymous id the first time you open the app, and keeps it in the iOS Keychain. That id is what your songs and your credits belong to. It is not derived from anything about you or your phone, and it tells us nothing except that the same device came back.

What we hold

• The anonymous device id — so your library and credit balance are still there tomorrow.
• The songs you make, and the words in them, so they are in your library and can be played on a link you share.
• What you typed to make them — the conversation that produced a song, kept with it.
• Product events — that a song was written, a paywall was seen, a reward was earned, an invite was shared. Counts, never content.
• Purchases — product id, amount, currency, transaction id.
• Your IP address, recorded with requests, to stop abuse of the free allowance.

What we do not do

• We do not track you. The app does not read the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not ask permission to, because it has no use for one.
• Ads are non-personalised. Where ads are shown they are requested with personalisation switched off.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
• We do not build a profile of you across other apps or websites.

The microphone

If you tap the mic, what you say is turned into text — the same text you could have typed — and that text is what is used. iOS handles the recognition. The audio is not kept and is not linked to your device id.

Who else sees anything

FeelSong is a small app standing on other people’s services. These are all of them:

• Apple — payments, and aggregate install measurement (SKAdNetwork). We never see your card.
• Google — AdMob for non-personalised ads, and Firebase for the product events above and on-device conversion measurement.
• Our music and language providers — the words you type to describe a song are sent to the services that write the lyrics and render the audio.
• Cloudflare — stores the finished audio and serves this website.

Each is a processor acting on our instructions, not a party we sell to.

How long we keep it

Your songs and your device id stay for as long as you use the app, and are deleted when you ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Product events are aggregate and are not tied to anything that identifies you.

Asking what we hold, or to be forgotten

Write to support@feelsong.app with the account id from the You screen — tap it to copy — and say what you want. We will answer within 30 days. Deleting removes your songs, so keep anything you want first.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to see, correct, port or object to what we hold, and to complain to your data protection authority. Ask at the same address; we do not charge for it and we do not treat you differently for asking.

Children

FeelSong is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from one. If you believe a child has used the app, write to us and we will remove it.

Where your data is

WaveSparkArt LLC is in the United States, and the services above process data in the United States and elsewhere. Using FeelSong from outside the US means your data is transferred there.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app says so before you next make a song.
